National Conference
on
metabolomics, transcriptomics & Proteomics
(ncmtp-2011)

National Conference on the topic Metabolomics,Transcriptomics and Proteomics was held at Shruti Auditorium of SGPGIMS Lucknow. The Conference was organised by “ Biopreen  Consultancy Services in Insilico Biology and Info Services(BCS)” in collaboration with “The Age of Biotechnology “  which is basically  a magazine running by “The Biotechnology education and development Institute” as the very first biotechnology magazine in North East India.

The content of the conference mainly held the idea of the latest and vibrantly topics of life sciences – Metabolomics, Transcriptomics and Proteomics. It consisted of various lectures and presentations on the topics of biotechnology, bioinformatics and associated life sciences. In this context conference made an impact on the scientific faternity.

 

The conference anchored by Deepti Saxena and Lekha Mishra was well organised by Mr. Santosh Kumar, CEO of BCSISB, Lucknow. Genesis of symposium was presented by patron Dr. R.P. Srivastava.

The Chief Guest of the occasion Dr. Y. Shukla, Scientist from IITR, Lucknow in inaugural session and Dr. M.K.J. Siddiqui, Director, UPCST with their graceful presence marked the conference with their able words and guidance to  the students and participants. There were other scientists and research scholars who presented their research results and shared their experinces from across many universities and research institutions all over India.

The two day conference on its first day also marked the launch of a science website www.bioinfotechtimes.com . In the end, a vote of thanks was delievered by conference secretary Dr.Shardana Potukuchi, Assistant professor at  SMVDU, Katra. At second day vote of thanks was delivered by convener Mr. Santosh Kumar, CEO BCS-InsilicoBiology, Lucknow.

The conference aims to provide the young science generations with the innovative, scientific and futuristic aspect of the growing, beeming and the most happening prospects of life sciences.
Conference was sponsored by Sahara City Homes and co-sposored by Uttar Pradesh Gramin Vikas Karyakram, Lakshya Real Infra Pvt Ltd, Mahindra Holidays.
